I have been teaching for 25 years and have plans to teach for many more. Even though it has been some time to be in the profession, I still work towards learning the best practices. Currently I am working classes in Mathematical Mindsets, Technology within Mathematics, and thinking positively.

Below is a quick list of resources your child will have to navigate. Click "Learning Resources" to be directed to a more detailed look of each resource.

  • Google ClassroomThis is the main hub for assignments, due dates, and class specific resources.
  • infinite Campus The main grading and data application. Please get used to each teachers gradebook. Be cognizant of weighted categories and how one grade can greatly affect there overall. Be focused on "Current Progress Grade"
  • Big Ideas Math Big Ideas was written with "simplicity" and "understanding for all" in mind. Your child should have received a book at home however it is essential that they can navigate the website. To login they need a student code that is unique to their class. Google Classroom will have the code within class materials.
  • GoFormativeThis tool allows me to ask for handwritten work or detailed questions that I can deliver effective feedback. A student can either go directly to the site and login with Google (using the school issued account) and see their assignments or it is connected to Google Classroom
  • IXL IXL is one of the best ways I can differentiate and diagnose holes in their mathematics career. I assign skills that can be done on any device.
  • Desmos Learning is an amazing web graphing service that involves the whole class in activities that can be assessed and monitored.
